So tonight as I was putting Jackson and Audrey to bed, I asked who wanted to say their prayers first. Audrey replied "Me! me! me! me! me! ... hey, I like that! I want my name to be meme now. Mom, will you call me meme?" In my head, I am thinking 'isn't that Mariah Carey's nickname?' Then I look back at Audrey and notice she has a fresh coat of shimmery lip gloss on her lips (this is a very important night time ritual and one that must not be skipped). Oh dear, DIVA alert! After her prayers, she promptly reminded me that I did not paint her fingernails red like a cherry as I had promised I would do today. Now I get to sit with that little nugget of guilt the rest of the evening.
